Award Ceremony for the Winning Students of the 25/26 Competition

Agencia Tributaria

Primary, Secondary (ESO), and High School students from Badajoz, Lleida, Barcelona, and Valencia, winners in the categories of 'Essay', 'Drawing', and 'Advertising Piece', received their awards at a ceremony presided over by Jesús Gascón Catalán, Secretary of State for Finance and President of the Spanish Tax Agency. He was accompanied by Antonio Ansón Latorre, Director General of the Tax Agency, and Ignacio Fraisero Aranguren, Director of the Planning and Institutional Relations Service.

Before the award presentation, the winners read and presented their entries.

The Agency organises this annual competition as part of its school visits to explain the social purpose of taxation and the harm caused by tax fraud.

By September, 438 trainers from the Agency's various territorial delegations have delivered over 2,600 hours of training to more than 72,000 students.
The trainers who gave the talk to the award-winning students received the TAXLANDIA game. This non-digital game will help young people take a break from screens and, in a relaxed manner, learn about tax matters through team play.
