Almost 1,000 tax education events held across Italy

The Tax Education Project continues in Italy: during the last school year Italian Revenue Agency offices have organized almost 1,000 events.  The project involved classes in primary and secondary schools. Tax officials explain the importance of paying taxes with a clear and engaging language using several educational materials: comics, videos and games. 

Italian Revenue Agency also collaborates with other Administrations to spread the values of tax compliance and financial legality. We organize events together with the Italian Revenue Collection Agency, with which we created two digital educational notebooks that our tax officials use during their lessons in the schools. Also, we organize initiatives with the Ministry of Economic and Finance, local authorities, the Bank of Italy and the Financial Police.

Moreover, our offices have developed many specific projects: competitions for the schools, laboratories dedicated to digital services and to promote pre-filled return.
